Job Responsibilities –

·         Responsible for requirement study, test planning, Test execution, Acceptance testing and project documentation

·         Responsible for Development testing for IP, ATM, frame relay, Mpls protocols

·         Responsible for release  testing of Cisco IOS XE , IOS XR releases across  ASR,CRS-1 , GSR12k platform

·         Responsible for Integration and Inter-op Validation with multi vendor platform

·         Responsible for Validation of IP core/backbone infrastructure /Services etc

·         Responsible for Upgrade and installation of Cisco IOS on GSR 12k, and CRS-1  

·         System Validation for routing and switching Environment across backbone (lab Environment)

·         Coordination with stakeholders for network impact issue.

·         Coordination with OEM for any Software/hardware related issues.

o    Cisco GSR12K

o    Cisco CRS-1

o    Cisco ASR 1002,1001,1006

Key Domain Areas:             

Experience and Qualifications   -- 4 + years of experience

·         Strong Exp on Routing switching protocols / OEM / Traffic Engineering

·         Strong exposure on IP protocols, IGP , EGP, MPLS , VPN , Traffic engineering

·         Strong exposure on Network migration, Equipment upgrade

·         Strong experience on multi vendor lab / topologies

·         Strong experience on High availability validation and convergence testing.

·         Strong experience on ISP backbone and Enterprise/Campus network topologies
