Job Description:

·        2 to 5 years of relevant experience in field of power testing.

·        Required to perform Daily power dashboards and level based testing. And will be required to move manual testing into automation.

·        This job will provide opportunity to learn the architecture of all chipsets and will provide system level understanding. Daily sync up is needed with power triage team and SD teams to follow up on all open issues. Weekly status reports to be sent and represent Android power test team in different forums to discuss on blocking issues, progress and future plans. Presently most of the testing is manual so plan is there to bring automation wherever it is possible.
Need to work on new features testing along with SD team. Bring in new tools and process to improve the efficiency of the team. This position also includes CTS execution.

Skill Set:

·        BE/BTech in Electronics/Computers/Electrical Engg from reputed Engineering college likes RECs/IITs/IIITs

·        This position primarily for Engineer-II/III position so these candidates should have relevant experience.

·        Should have good understanding on Android frame work.

·        Relevant testing experience on Power and performance.

·        Experience on CTS, Monkey, stability and telephony testing will be an added advantage.

·        Understanding on automation with Perl scripting, Robotium/Instrumentation framework is a must.
