Designation: Project Manager
Reports to: Head-Operations

Product Manager/Senior Lead Instructional Designer

Job Description
• Will be responsible of managing the production engineering team to deliver interactive
training programs for 3d virtual reality based maintenance simulators. The team includes 3d
artists, instructional designers, 3d programmers, User Interface programmers, Embedded and
Mechanical Engineers.

Major Responsibilities:
• Delivers quantifiable value to customers
• Manages and analyzes project schedules, quantifies manages and controls all project risks
through the project lifecycle.
• Develops effective cross-functional relationships within the organization's business ensuring
the overall success of customer projects.
• Effectively balances the skill growth and development for the team members while delivering
on project commitments
• Effectively evaluates team member performance through participation in formal performance
review process. Identifies and addresses performance issues in real time basis.
• Builds credible customer relationships through track record of success to ensure positive
customer references at each of their assigned projects or accounts.
• Independently develops solutions or plan of action to solve tough problems related to project,
products and staffing. Escalates issues appropriately internally and externally based on the
critical nature of the problem and authority required to get results.
• Ultimately responsible for positive customer relations, developing and maintaining existing
and new customer relationships at all levels including the executive level.
• Negotiates profitable agreements with vendors for procurement.
• Builds credible customer relationships through track record of success to ensure positive
customer references at each of their assigned projects or accounts.
• Effectively articulates how key decisions provided by the different solutions impact the
client's bottom line.
• Responsible for getting customer agreement to measure value, and for identifying and
documenting value received by the customer.
• Identifies opportunities to extend value received, and defines strategy to execute.
• Regularly interacts with senior management or executive levels on matters concerning several
functional areas, divisions and/or overall business activities.
• Consulted by senior executives or clients while implementing critical business process
changes.
• Supports recruitment and selection process by screening resumes, conducting interviews.
• Ensures compliance with internal and external company policies and procedures.
• Other duties as directed by the line manager.
• Achieves positive economic results aligned with the original projects estimates and
profitability on all assigned projects through appropriate management of resources, risks and
scope. Provides adequate coaching to the project teams to ensure success.
• Ensures the overall success of multiple projects by either hands-on project managing or
guiding and leading Project Managers and/or Solution Architects in their efforts to properly
scope projects, estimate work effort and timelines, develop detail project plans while
defining critical milestones, payment structure, dependencies, project risks and appropriate
staffing plan required to manage and successfully deliver the project.
• Strives for ongoing continuous improvements for the management of projects.
• Conducts oneself in a professional manner at all times with customers and internal associates.
• Completes assigned work within the allotted time.
• Escalates issues that may have negative financial impact.
• Keeps individual expenses under budget.

Required Skills/Experience
• Have about 5-10 years overall experience
• Minimum of 4 years of strong experience working as an Instructional Designer.
• Relevant experience in project management
• Must have excellent writing and communication skills
Beneficial Skills/Experience
• Knowledge of real time simulation or Virtual Reality or 3d technologies
• Masters'/Bachelors' Degree in Instructional Design (or related field)
• Instructional Designer experience in the fields related to mechanical engineering
